[origin: EP1154082A2] The digging tooth cap has wedge-shaped working surfaces (4), extending towards each other. At least one of the working surfaces has several longitudinal ribs (5) and/or transverse ribs (13). One working surface is curved between its side edges, and longitudinal ribs are formed in the center of the wedge surface approximately parallel to the edges. The edges are higher than the ribs, and the relative distance between the ribs is larger than rib height, and smaller than 8-times the rib height. The transverse ribs are positioned at even relative distances.
