Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1154513A1] Dipole antenna 12 is constructed of rectangular-wave-shaped antenna elements and the rectangular-wave-shaped antenna elements are mounted in such a way that the longitudinal direction is quasi-perpendicular to the upper surface (horizontal plane) of the radio communication terminal. A signal received by dipole antenna 12 is sent to a transmission/reception circuit via balanced/unbalanced conversion circuit 13. Here, balanced/unbalanced conversion circuit 13 minimizes the current that flows into base plate 11, thus preventing the antenna operation by base plate 11. <IMAGE>
