[origin: WO0050001A1] The invention relates to dermocosmetics, particularly to the treatment of the apendages of the skin. The invention relates more particularly to dermocosmetic preparations based on extracts of plants from the following groups: Bomabacaceae and Poaceae, especially Ceiba pentandra and/or Eleusina indica, either together or separately, associated with or mixed with an appropriate diluent or excipient for topical application. The inventive compositions are used to treat alopecia or the loss of hair or an absence of hair on the entire surface of the body including the head.
