[origin: WO0050312A2] The multiple-package sleeve container, designed for wrapping-up and carrying bunches of consumer packages, made up of a punched blank of cardboard or the like, with two ends (29, 30) overlapped and glued together, contains at least one pleat (11) confined by two fold lines (13, 14), overlapped and locked by gluing or banding transversally with a girded polypropylene strap (22) accommodated in the notches (21) on the container edges (20), or alternatively locked by means of snap fasteners (28, 25) suitably disposed about one of the fold lines (13 or 14) of the pleat (11).
