[origin: DE19907147A1] A refrigerator(10) door has an outer cladding(11) formed out of metallic material, an inner cladding spaced away from it plus a heat-insulating layer made by foaming, provided between the outer and inner claddings. The inner cladding (14) is formed out of metallic material. The inner cladding is formed out of a high quality steel bar in non-cutting fashion, at least as far as possible. The inner cladding at its free edge sections (15) is decoupled from the free edge sections of the outer cladding with heat-insulating devices, at least as far as possible. The devices are formed as heat-insulting material located between the edge sections of the outer and inner claddings.
