Abstract (en)

The method for producing a slot (6) for a separation wall on the top edge of a bath tub or a shower tray (2) comprises: (a) in the factory the bath tub or shower tray is provided with a top edge (1) of glass fiber reinforced plastic material and this edge is filled with a layer (5) of cast plastic material; and (b) the slot is produced on the installation site, in particular, by a milling process. An Independent claim is also included for a bath tub or a shower tray with a slot for a separation wall.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Fertigung einer Nut zur Aufnahme von Trennwänden im oberen Rand einer Bade- oder Duschwanne. Dabei wird werksseitig die Bade- oder Duschwanne mit einem eine obere Oberfläche aufweisenden oberen Rand aus glasfaserverstärktem Acryl gefertigt, wobei der Rand von innen mit einer Schicht aus Polyester ausgegossen wird, in-stallationsseitig wird die Nut im oberen Rand nachträglich ausgebildet, insbesondere eingefräst.
