Abstract (en)
Mandrel has balls (2) divided into two longitudinal sections (3), a tip section (3) and a rear longitudinal section (5) as a mandrel base body (6). The whole cross-section of the tip section consists of a high melting material or a high melting material alloy. Preferably the tip section is made from a titanium-molybdenum alloy. The mandrel base body is formed from a high heat-resistant tool steel. A blind hole bore (8) having an inner thread is provided in the mandrel base body.

Ein Lochdorn (1) zum Schrägwalzen von metallischen Hohlkörpern auf Schrägwalz- werken mit einem Einspannschaft (1a) und mit einem zur Spitze hin gewölbten Verlauf (12) des Lochdornballens (2) kann in seiner Standzeit gesteigert werden, indem der Lochdornballen (2) in zwei Längsabschnitte (3) geteilt ist und indem der Spitzenabschnitt (4) bei vollem Querschnitt (4a) aus einem hochschmelzenden Werkstoff oder einer hoch schmelzenden Werkstoff-Legierung besteht. <IMAGE>
