[origin: EP1155843A2] The device has pivoting arms bearing the inking roller adjustable relative to a friction roller using eccentric bearings and pressed against adjustable stops by spring force to fix its engagement position with a plate cylinder. The stops have stop surfaces bearing supporting cams. The cam support points change when the inking and friction roller axle separation is corrected so as to correct the inking roller and plate cylinder axis separation. The device has pivoting arms bearing the inking roller (2,3) pivotable about the axis of a friction roller (4) and adjustable with respect to the friction roller using eccentric bearings and pressed against adjustable stops by spring force to fix the engagement position of the inking roller with the plate cylinder (1). The stops have stop surfaces (12,13) bearing supporting cams (10,11) and of such size and shape that the cam supporting points on the supporting surfaces change when the inking and friction roller axle separation is corrected so as to correct the inking roller and plate cylinder axis separation.
