[origin: EP1155875A2] The adhesive binding installation comprises a transport device receiving book blocks (3B) and delivering them to processing stations which have a cover (3U) transport track. Via this track in an intermediary space between the entries of the book blocks a cover can be transported to an intermediary store and located there. In the area of the cover transport track, and in front of the intermediary store a feed path for a fold strip (3F) to a fold station is arranged. The book block, after passing the feed path for the fold strip, on entry to the intermediate store is connectable with the cover.
