[origin: EP1156142A1] The coupling (29) employs a magnetic assembly (30). This locates the rotor shaft (4) and cup (26) axially. A keying assembly (31) locks them together in rotation. Preferred features: The magnetic assembly comprises a permanent magnet (32) secured to the rotor shaft, attracting a ferromagnetic extension (33) of the cup (26). The permanent magnet is located in a rotationally-symmetrical housing (34) which is locked in rotation with the rotor shaft (4). The housing is press-fitted into its seat in the tubular rotor shaft (4). The keying (31) is polygonal (35) (hex). The housing includes a cylindrical guidance bore (37), surrounding the rotor cup extension (38) when installed.
