Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1156181A2] The hinge (100) has a first portion (10) engaging the fixed frame of the window or door. The second portion (11) is attached to the movable window or door-frame. It is situated above the first portion, and is separated from it by a pressure ring or spacer (30). A hinge pin or bolt (16) has a vertical axis (S). The bottom part (16'') of the bolt has two large-diameter portions (21,23) separated by a narrow waist which may be engaged by a grub screw (18). The top part (16') extends through a sleeve in the top hinge member and has a pattern of longitudinal ridges and grooves (24).
