The control element has a sealing gap defined between stationary and movable cylindrical guide surfaces (4,8) of a valve needle guide (2) and a valve housing, the movable guide surface provided with a surface structure, e.g. parallel peripheral grooves or a flat thread extending over the full length of the guide surface. A carbon coating can be applied to the surface structure.

Die Erfindung betrifft Steuerelemente für Hochdruckhydraulikanlagen, insbesondere Ventilnadeln und Ventilsteuerkolben von Injektoren für Common-Rail-Einspritzsysteme, mit stationären und bewegbaren Führungsflächen (4,8), zwischen denen ein Dichtspalt vorgesehen ist. Die Leckage zwischen den Führungsflächen (4,8) wird dadurch minimiert, dass vorzugsweise die bewegbaren Führungsflächen (4,8) eine die Strömung im Dichtspalt beeinflussende Strukturierung (5) aufweisen. <IMAGE>
