[origin: EP1156283A2] Heater for room heating, with an electrical heating element (11), placed in a generally plate formed housing (13) with a front panel (14) and a back plate (15) with fastening devices (12) for fastening to a wall or similar mounting surface. The heater includes a distance holder, in the form of an inlay (20) of fibre containing and/or porous, thermal resistant and electric insulating material, in plate or grid form.
