[origin: EP1156514A1] The top of the lamp bulb (20) is coated with an interference filter (30) consisting of at least four stacks of layers. One, applied to the bulb surface, absorbs blue and violet light. At least one of the subsequent stacks has high and low refracting layers with thicknesses selected so that it has a low transmission to the above light and high for red light whilst a second stack adjusts the edge of the interference filter in the red spectral region.
