[origin: WO0149514A1] The invention relates to a method for verifying tyres of vehicles in the driving state. Signals which provide information on a frictional connection between the tyres and the roadway and in the vertical direction in relation to the roadway are detected by means of sensors (10) that are provided at the tyres and are evaluated in an evaluation unit (20) with regard to the amplitudes thereof and in such a way that the amplitude characteristic for the detected signals can indicate malfunction occurring on the tyre. An occurring malfunction is displayed in a display unit and is stored for diagnosis purposes.
