[origin: DE19963004A1] The system has at least one transmitter and receiver element arranged in a casing, with at least one dielectric body (20) arranged in the beam path and at least one arrangement of electrically-conducting tracks (21) directly contacting the dielectric body, to heat it. The electrically-conducting tracks are made of a material with a positive temperature co-efficient. Preferably, the spacing of the electrically-conducting tracks is an odd multiple of the quarter wavelength of the transmitted waves in free space.
