Abstract (en)
Device for throwing carnival accessories comprises a tube (2) that is filled with the accessories (9), has a closure (4) at least one end and has one or more holes (7, 8) in the tube wall or closure to allow ingress of air to expel the accessories when the device is moved rapidly forwards above the head. An Independent claim is also included for a method for filling the device with confetti, comprising introducing packs of confetti one after the other into a groove in a rigid filling tube of slightly smaller cross section than the throwing tube (2), inserting the filling tube into the throwing tube, and withdrawing the filling tube while holding the last pack to be introduced.
