Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10025178C1] The sealing device (1) has an anchoring unit (2) connecting both sides of the movement joint (F) and an elastic bridging unit, which is connected at its long edges to the anchoring unit, so that it forms an open longitudinal groove (10) on each side. The groove is limited by a relief bar (8) and is at least non-positively fixed to a holder bar (9) by a clamp strip (11). The clamp strip extends over the relief bar and has passages in the groove area for press elements to compress elastic compression bodies (14) arranged in the grooves, to press opposite side faces against the walls of the groove.
