A device for controlling a water heater has a layered storage device (1) with a cold water tapping (4) at its lowest point connected via a pump (5) to a heat exchanger (6) from which a hot water line (7) leads to the top of the storage device, a consumable water line (3), a cold water feed line (2) connected to the bottom of the storage device and a water temperature sensor (12) connected to a controller (10) with a timer (11). The temperature sensor is mounted in the hot water feed line. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method.

Verfahren zur Steuerung einer Wasserheizeinrichtung mit einem Schichtenspeicher (1), bei dem die Abschaltung eines Ladevorganges bei Erreichen einer bestimmten Temperatur des Wassers erfolgt.
