[origin: WO0053071A1] The invention concerns a mobile self-contained washstand for recurrent use in a medical environment comprising, on a mobile frame (1) at least a basin (4), a nozzle (5) connected by a pipe (18) to a water tank (21), electric or pneumatic means (27, 28, 32) for supplying the nozzle (5) with water under pressure coming from said tank (21) and an antiseptic product dispenser (6). The invention is characterised in that at least a primary filtering unit (23, 24) is interposed upstream of the nozzle (5) in the supply pipe (18) to provide a barrier for the pathogenic germs, surfactants, aromatic compounds an colouring agents present in the antiseptic liquid, the waste water in the basin (4) returning directly or through an intermediate treating unit (7, 16) into the tank (21).
