Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0047804A1] The aim of the invention is to bind a continuous filament yarn, especially continuous elastane fibers, with spun yarn. It has been shown that a tight binding can be produced by subjecting both fibers which are embossed together to a twisting. The spun yarn and the filament yarns are guided together through an air treatment nozzle device and are held over a short distance. The binding results by subjecting the yarns which are rapidly passing through to a false twisting, whereby the filament yarn is continuously anchored in the spun yarn. A double change of the direction of rotation has been used up to now as an optimal solution which consists of a successive S-twist-Z-twist-S-twist or Z-twist-S-twist-Z-twist with a free distance between the respectively adjacent twist generators.
