[origin: WO0053946A1] The invention relates to a hydraulically actuated clutch release system (7) Said system comprises a pull mechanism (8) that pulls the pressure plate (1) from the engaged position into the disengaged position upon disengagement of the clutch. Said pull mechanism (8) has a locking element (41) that can be displaced from a locking position to a release position for separating the engine from the transmission. In its locking position, said locking element transmits the tractive force that is produced by a relative movement of the first and the second hydraulic element (15, 16) to the pressure plate (1). According to the invention, a release element (47) is provided. The release element (47) and the locking element (41) are configured and are arranged relative to one another in such a manner that the locking element (41) is displaced by the release element (47) from the locking position to the release position if a relative movement between the first and the second hydraulic element (15, 16) is caused by separating the engine and the transmission.
