[origin: WO0054013A1] The invention concerns a system for measuring and communicating body temperature, comprising a thermometer module (1), a reader provided with remote data transmission means, in transmission and in reception, with said module. The module (1) includes an element for sensing (3) the temperature of an organ, means for being fixedly secured (6) on a patient's skin, means transmitting data representing the measured temperature, and means supplying the sensing element with electric power, such that the thermometer module and the reader may exchange data.
