Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1160411A2] The clamping profile (1), for a glass pane (2), has a leg (6) to support the laid pane and a clamp to secure it. The profile has two chambers, where one takes the inserted glass pane and the other has a clamp unit (12) with play. The dividing wall (8) between the chambers is thin, so that the clamping movement from one chamber is transferred to the glass pane in the other chamber to hold it in position. The profile and the clamp are of a light metal material.
