The air-conditioning unit has a first module (1) with a housing positioned within the room to be air-conditioned, containing an evaporator (2) and a second module (3) positioned on the outside of the room, containing a condenser (4), with electrical and cooling medium lines between the 2 modules. The condensed water for the condenser is received by a collection container (5) which can be emptied via an opening normally closed by a cover, or which is formed by part of the base of the second module, provided with a discharge line leading to a discharge opening.

Die tragbare Klimaanlage umfaßt zwei Module, ein inneres 1, das sich im Raum, der klimatisiert werden soll, befindet, und ein anderes 3, außerhalb des Raumes, an der äußeren Luft. Es wurde in Übereinstimmung mit der Erfindung ein Sammelbehälter 5 vorgesehen, der das Wasser, das im Modul 3 angesammelt ist, aufnimmt und sich über eine Ausgangsöffnung 6, die mit Hilfe eines Pfropfens 8 geschlossen werden kann, entleert. <IMAGE>
