Abstract (en)
The release device (1) has trigger elements (2) which can be triggered via a connector, esp. connector leads (4,5). The trigger elements are arranged in a housing (3). Means are provided for protection against electromagnetic voltage to prevent faulty triggering.. This protection is in the form of a ferrite core (8) arranged closely adjacent the trigger element. The core may be provided in a capsule so as to be insensitive to pressure.

Ausgehend von einer Zündvorrichtung (1) für ein Sicherheitssystem, insbesondere einen Airbag oder einen Gurtstraffer eines Fahrzeuges, mit einem über Anschlußmittel zündbarem Zündelement (2), das in einem Gehäuse (3) angeordnet ist und wobei Mittel zum EMV-Schutz vorhanden sind, ist zur Vermeidung von Fehlzündungen des Zündelementes erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß die Mittel zum EMV-Schutz als Ferritkern (8) ausgebildet sind, wobei der Ferritkern (8) dicht benachbart zu dem Zündelement (2) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
