[origin: EP1160534A2] The release device (1) has trigger elements (2) which can be triggered via a connector, esp. connector leads (4,5). The trigger elements are arranged in a housing (3). Means are provided for protection against electromagnetic voltage to prevent faulty triggering.. This protection is in the form of a ferrite core (8) arranged closely adjacent the trigger element. The core may be provided in a capsule so as to be insensitive to pressure.
