[origin: WO0054637A1] The invention concerns an assembly of profile resistant to lateral forces and comprising a female profile and a male profile (24) which can be assembled by being longitudinal sliding. The male profile (24) comprises an outer section (26) and an inner section (28) arranged in the extension of each other, and a lateral branch (30) starting from the transition between the sections, the male profile (24) having a length which decreases from the external end of outer section (26), such that if the male profile (24) is deprived of its lateral branch (30) or of its inner section (28), it is no longer maintained laterally in the female profile which has a cavity with matching shape. The invention is applicable to advertising in sales outlets and to signage.
