[origin: DE19911859A1] The invention relates to a weighing device for determining density which according to a preferred embodiment comprises at least one load-receiving part (17) mounted on a scale (16) as well as a substantially vertical upright (2) which is situated near a placement site (S) for a vessel (7) which can be filled with a measurement liquid (F) of known density. The upright (2) comprises a vertical slide bar (9) for a support (15) which can be moved up and down along same and on which the scale (16) is mounted. A second load-receiving part (18) for dry measurement is provided for to be able to determine the density of objects having a lower density than the measurement liquid.
