The device (1) can be made of plastic or meteal and is provided with several vertical partitions (2) accommodating the items (11) to be stored between them. The partitions (2) are joined to the sides (3) or to the back and front (12) of the inner surface of the drawer with specifically shaped holding elements (4,5). Positioned between the partitions (2) and joined to the same holding elements (4,5) are slightly elastic bow-shaped spring elements (10) which keep the stored item (11) safely in place when the drawer is slid open or closed.

Ein Einsatzelement (1) für Schubkästen, das an einer Rückseite mit einer Seitenwand (3) eines Schubkastens verbindbar ist oder die Seitenwand eines Schubkastens ausbildet, umfaßt mehrere Kammern, die voneinander durch Zwischenwände (2) getrennt sind. Die Kammern (2) sind zu dem Innenraum des Schubkastens hin zur Aufnahme von Gegenständen, beispielsweise Tellern (11) offen. Erfindungsgemäß ist in den Kammern (2) jeweils mindestens ein Federelement (10) vorgesehen, das an einen in die Kammern (2) aufgenommenen Gegenstand (11) anlegbar ist. Vorzugsweise spannt dabei jedes Federelement (10) ein in der Kammer (2) aufgenommenen Gegenstand (11) zu dem Innenraum des Schubkastens hin, vor. <IMAGE>
