Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1162011A2] The device has a tool unit moved by a drive, pref. an articulated arm robot. The tool unit (1) is held on the drive pivoted about a pivot axis (4), and is moveable through a set angle between two or more working positions. Each working position is associated with a folding roller (5,6,7), which is held turnable on the tool unit. The rollers have different jackets (11,12,13) for different functions. For a two-stage folding process, the tool unit is moved along the flange edge with its first roller in first working position, and then with the second roller in second working position.
