Abstract (en)
The lock comprises a box (1) made of a material having a high melting point and a bolt (8) made of a material with a lower melting point. The bolt is mounted on the box to be mobile between a locking position in which it projects to engage a latch (5), and a retracted position in which the door may be opened. An auxiliary bolt (9) is also provided, this being made from a material having a high melting point. The lock comprises a box (1) made of a material having a high melting point which is intended to be fixed to the door (2), and a bolt (8) made of a material with a lower melting point. The bolt is mounted on the box to be mobile between a locking position in which it projects to engage a latch (5), and a retracted position in which the door may be opened. An auxiliary bolt (9) is also provided, this being made from a material having a high melting point. An elastic return device (19) is provided within the lock. Links (11,21) connect together the two bolts, and at least one of these is made from a material which melts at a temperature between the ambient operating temperature and that at which the first bolt melts.
