Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0076597A1] The handball game mat called "Vip Flipp" is a piece of sporting equipment. Two handles are mounted to the left and right of a woven cloth mat of approximately 60 cm long and 25 cm wide. In the center of said mat, two retention balls are affixed on the lateral edges. A ball is placed in the loose mat. The mat is immediately tensioned by jerking and stretching both handles. The energy thus generated is transmitted to the ball. Depending on the force exerted, the ball is thrown at a distance or into the air. The shape of the mat can be very rapidly transformed into various catch pouches while the ball is in the air. The Vip Flipp game can be played by individual players, in pairs or groups. The Vip Flipp game can be played in swimming pools, at the beach, in sports stadiums, etc. The Vip Flipp game can be rolled up. The ball consists of a semi-soft plastic material thereby precluding any possible injuries. The game can also be played with other balls such as tennis balls, golf balls or the like and small beach balls.
