[origin: DE10000702A1] The invention relates to an angle grinder comprising a housing (2) which can be more economically produced due to the fact that it comprises an assembly shell (3), a cover shell (4) and an insert (1) that is arranged between these shells. The insert (1) is provided with a first fixing device (10) and a second fixing device (11) to be fixed between the assembly shell (3) and the cover shell (4), and is provided with a spindle lock receiver (12) and a spindle bearing receiver (13). The assembly shell (3) comprises a fist fixing means (30) in which the first fixing device (10) of the insert (1) engages. The cover shell (4) comprises a second fixing means (40) which engages in the fixing device (10) of the insert (1). The insert (1) also comprises a second fixing device (11) which, via corresponding means, can be mounted on the assembly shell (3) and the cover shell (4).
