Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19911570A1] Long-chain alkyl sulfates only hardly dissolve in water. It was found that certain anionic surface active granulates in which the fatty alcohol sulfate is intimately mixed with at least one other anionic surface active agent are characterized by an improved solubility in cold water. The inventive method for producing such anionic surface active granulates is characterized by producing a paste consisting of at least two anionic surface active agents and intimately mixing it, adjusting said paste to a pH in the range of 6.0 to 8.5 and then subjecting it to a granulation step.
