[origin: WO0056991A1] The invention relates to a cubicle (10) that is built with prefabricated elements and sections and can be assembled in a given or existing room (11). The cubicle (10) is provided with side wall components (16 to 32) which are at least partially provided with functional and/or forming elements. The side wall components (16 to 32) consist of several layers, are waterproof or dampproof at least in the core (41) thereof and are provided with rivets (58, 59; 53, 54) on the face thereof and along one or more longitudinal and/or transversal edges (56, 57; 51, 52). The side wall components (16 to 32) can be connected to spring elements (64, 68, 75, 91, 92, 94) in a plug-in manner by means of the rivets (58, 59; 53, 54) thereof. The spring elements form separate components or are configured as components protruding from wall, bottom or cover components or an installation object or are part of a fixing element (61, 62). The cubicle (10) can thus basically be built with prefabricated elements and mounted quickly and in a space-saving manner. Furthermore, plastic joints are not required for the cubicle which is a bathroom unit.
