[origin: EP1163872A1] The loader for a machine dispensing wiping material such as paper hand towel, comprising a wall-mounted housing (1) with an opening cover (8), an inner roll of material (B), a pressure roller (4) and a drum (2) with an integral cutter (3), incorporates a guard shutter (5) to protect the drum, pivoted to the sides of the housing and moving away from the drum to facilitate loading when the cover is opened. The shutter moves back into place when the cover is closed, and has a projecting edge (5c) which holds the material between the pressure roller and drum.
