Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1163988A1] The machine has a cutting cylinder (1) with a reciprocating cutter holding plate (2) and a feed (3) to project the sheets between the cylinder and the plate. A feed belt (9) is motor driven (M3) actuated by an electronic control circuit. The belt accelerates each sheet from a conveying speed to a speed matching that of the reciprocating plate. An adjusting circuit determines the cutting position for each sheet with respect to its leading edge.
