Abstract (en)
The deicer for a motor vehicle windscreen has a heater (1) for the windscreen (9) cleaning fluid. The heater has a container (4) between the windscreen cleaning liquid reservoir (2) and the spray nozzle. The container has a resistance heating element (5) for the cleaning liquid, mounted at mid height of the container and extending to form a serpentine flow passage for the liquid. Temperature controls (16) are mounted adjacent to the container outlet.
