[origin: EP1164615A1] The circuit breaker has a triggering device (2,3) coupled to the N pole associated with the neutral conductor or a PEN pole associated with the neutral and earth conductor of a switch-off device (4,5) for the phase pole or poles (P1-P3). The triggering device switches the N or PEN pole (P4) with or without disconnection. The N or PEN pole has a switch-off device with a bridged switch contact.
