Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2791580A1] The precursor coating is dispersed in a fluid under supercritical conditions of temperature and pressure then decomposed with metal deposition and the solvent evacuated in gaseous form. The process applies to particles of nanometric to micrometric dimensions, 1 nm to 100 mu . Process for the deposition of a film on the surface or in the pores of porous particles by the stages: (a) contact of the particles to be coated with a precursor organo-metallic complex of the coating material(optionally associated with one or more supplementary organo-metallic complexes), the particles being dispersed in the fluid and submitted to supercritical or slightly subcritical pressure and temperature conditions; (b) transformation of the precursor to initiate deposition of metal on the particulate substrate; (c) elimination of the solvent fluid by adjustment of pressure and temperature conditions. An Independent claim is also included for the coated particles thereby obtained.
