Said proteins are involved in the development of the nervous system, especially the central nervous system, and are expressed in a tissue-specific and development-specific manner. The invention also relates to DNA sequences that code said proteins and antibodies or fragments thereof which are directed against said proteins. The invention further relates to antisense RNA or ribozymes which are directed against the expression of the proteins. Disclosed are medicaments and diagnostic processes in which the above-mentioned compounds are used. The invention further relates to a non-human mammal whose TP-coding gene is modified.
