Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19913828A1] The invention relates to a funnel for connecting the top or frame of a road gully to a collecting basin. The funnel preferably consist of synthetic material. The invention also relates to a method for producing a funnel of synthetic material. Considering the disadvantages of the known prior art, the invention aims at creating a funnel which can connect different frames or tops to different collecting basins in such a way that the surface water or the like to be removed does not enter the soil. The aim of the invention is also to provide a method for cost-effectively producing the funnel. To this end, the underside of the funnel (3) is provided with an outlet (3a) which can be connected to the upper part (4a) of the collecting basin (4) in such a way that pressure and stress are not produced. The outlet (3a) is provided with an edge (3c) on at least two opposite sides. Said edge (3c) has an extended section (3d, 3f) which is slightly inclined at least on one side or can be automatically adjusted in the angle of inclination thereof. The edge (3c) can be inserted into the opening (2g) that is situated underneath the gridiron (6) of the frame or the top (2). After having been inserted, the edge (3c) rests in an almost liquid-proof manner against the inner side of the area pertaining to the frame or top (2), whereby said area defines the outlet (2g).
