Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0058592A1] The invention relates to a drive device for a rolling door. In said device, the distance between the rotational axis (6) of the winding shaft (5) which receives the door leaf, and the lintel (2) of the door opening (1) which is to be closed is adjusted. Said adjustment takes place, based on the closed or open position attained by the door leaf, in relation to the inbound or outbound alignment thereof on the guides (3) for said door leaf which are provided on each side of the door opening. The distance adjustment is at least approximately synchronised with the closing and opening movement of the door leaf. The adjustment in the distance of the rotational axis (6) of the winding shaft (5) is carried out by the bearings (7) of said winding shaft (5) which are guided along a displacement path which lies at least approximately in a straight line in relation to corresponding consoles (10) which can be arranged on either side of the door opening (1) in the lintel area. Said distance adjustment occurs between the bearing blocks of the winding shaft and the consoles allocated thereto in a reliable, quiet manner which requires little maintenance, in addition to involving minimal friction losses. The adjustment takes place in such a way that the substantially straight-line guidance system of the bearings (7) in relation to the consoles (10) consists of at least one four-link drive chain (1 to 4; levers 14, 15) running through each bearing (7) and corresponding console (10).
