[origin: WO0150484A1] The invention relates to a solenoid comprising a coil (4) which is located in an induction cup (1). In order to improve the thermal coupling of the coil to its environment, the coil (4) consists of a wire, in particular an enamelled wire provided with a coating which produces a cohesion of the wire (4). One method for producing an inventive solenoid is characterised in that the coil (4) is inserted into the magnetic body (1) and a low-viscosity sealing compound (7) is cast around said coil.
