The aim of the invention is to connect particularly large contact elements (12) to the contact support (11) with a sufficiently high connection quality, in particular by using an economical resistance welding process. To this end, the invention provides that the contact element (12) is formed from a plurality of contact element segments (13) and that the individual contact element segments (13) are assembled together to make up the contact element (12).
