Abstract (en)
The mattress (10) has an evacuable mattress body (15) and at least one longitudinal strut fixed in the mattress body. The longitudinal struts cannot be compressed in their longitudinal direction, to reduce shrinkage in the longitudinal direction (L) when the mattress is evacuated. Preferably, two longitudinal struts are arranged near the longitudinal edges of the mattress body. An Independent claim is included for a mattress cover for use with the mattress.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vakuum-Matratze (10) mit einem evakuierbaren Matratzenkörper (15) sowie wenigstens einer Längsstrebe, die in Längsrichtung (L) des Matratzenkörpers (15) ausgerichtet und an diesem wenigstens bereichsweise festgelegt ist, wobei die Längsstrebe in ihrer Längsrichtung im wesentlichen nicht komprimierbar ist, um eine Schrumpfung des Matratzenkörpers (15) in Längsrichtung (L) bei dessen Evakuierung zu reduzieren. <IMAGE>
