[origin: EP1167261A1] The system for forming and aligning bundles of loosely piled printed products consists of a feed conveyor, a bundling table (3), and a delivery conveyor. The bundling table is vertically movable and can be positioned in at least one upper catching position. The height of the bundling table is adjustable in the catching position providing the fall height of a first printed product onto the table is ideally between 120 and 230 mm. The printed products which are supplied by the feed conveyor are first piled one on top of the other to form a primary pile (5).
