Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a traverse drum in an apparatus such as an automatic winder, wherein a plurality of traverse drum segmental pieces are molded through injection molding and assembled without groove finishing processing. The invention relates also to a traverse drum manufactures by this method comprising traverse grooves (G) on the surface and a plurality of assembled traverse drum segmental pieces (2), each of which has a section (3) forming a part of the traverse grooves on the drum surface (2a) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
