Abstract (en)

The yarn brake assembly has a guide tube (8) opening coaxially into the brake housing (1). It can be locked in place in the brake housing at a number of height level positions, and carries a spring-loaded support body (5). A yarn entry tube (16) is within the guide tube, and can be locked in at least two positions against the guide tube. It carries a brake ring (14) at the inner end, with a sprung support against the support body. The yarn brake assembly has a guide tube with an angled surface at its upper edge, with a shaped projection. The yarn entry tube has a bead (16.1) projecting outwards, with a lower angled surface matching the upper edge of the guide tube. The lower edge of the bead has a number of recesses, with the base of each at a different gap from the upper edge of the entry tube. The support body has a number of support shoulders (5.1,5.2) at axial intervals around its circumference, to lie against a radial projection (1.1) at the inner wall of the housing. The support body has a bowl shape with a cylinder chamber (5.3) as a sprung support for the brake ring. A second brake ring (4) is held at a carrier (3) which acts as a piston within the brake housing, with movement against a return spring (2) to release the brake cartridge. Radial projections at the inner wall of the housing are supports (20) for the brake cartridge (11) where the cartridge bulges (13.1).

Eine Fadenbremse mit einem im wesentlichen rohförmigen Bremsengehäuse (1), in dem eine kapselförmige Bremspatrone (11) angeordnet ist, die erste und zweite teleskopartig gegen die Kraft einer Feder gegeneinander verschiebbare Hülsenteile (12, 13) aufweist, die im wesentlichen kugelige bzw. kalottenförmige, entgegengesetzt gerichtete Endabschnitte zur Bildung von Bremsflächen haben, die gegen im Bremsengehäuse starr und/oder in Achsrichtung verschiebbar angeordnete Bremsringe (4, 14) anliegen, deren Abstand voneinander veränderbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in das Bremsengehäuse (1) koaxial ein Führungsrohr (8) mündet, das einen in unterschiedlichen Höhenstellungen in dem Bremsengehäuse (1) arretierbaren, federbelasteten Stützkörper (5) trägt, und daß innerhalb dieses Führungsrohres (8) ein in mindestens zwei Positionen gegenüber diesem Führungsrohr positionierbares Fadeneinlaufrohr (16) verläuft, dessen inneres Ende den Bremsring (14) trägt, der federbelastet an dem Stützkörper (5) abgestützt ist. <IMAGE>
